Thank you, the house is beautiful and we felt very welcomed and as a result had a wonderful relaxing holiday.  The nature, lovely local people and breathtaking countryside.  We would recommend Anghiari and Gubbio (an hour’s drive but worth it), the food and wine exceeded expectations..Senza Tempo at Monterchi a definite must!

I have really enjoyed my holiday here, I have played in the pool and watered the plants. We have had many BBQs and have visited Arezzo, Cortona, Citta di Castello and many more. The markets around here are amazing, I bought amazing clothes.  I will be sad to leave.  Thank you for a wonderful time! PS. Look out for the awesome lizards!

Wonderful holiday! Perfect house, weather, setting, a wonderful escape.  Highlights – the wildlife (boar, snakes, squirrels, deer and porcupines), Monte Santa Maria Tiberina is lovely, other fab trips to Anghiari, Montepulciano, Gubbio, lots of lovely places! We had such a great time last year that we simply had to come back.  The weather was fabulous and we made sure we explored the area.  Can vouch for Charlotte’s recommendation of “La Lea’ in Citta di Castello, fabulous food! Citerna is a hidden gem and the frescos at Chiesa San Francesco are quite simply the most impressive works I’ve ever paid to visit.  There’s so much more to see in the archaeology museum.  A great week flew by in this beautiful area.

Casa Verde is charming, quaint, just perfect..you were an amazing host, thank you.  We had a wonderful holiday visiting many beautiful places and loved the people, the countryside, food, wine and prosecco…the weather was a little wet but the log burner was perfect in the evenings.  Visit as many places as you can – we recommend Anghiari for coffee at Caffe Corsini, Monterchi for La Pieve Vecchia and the old square in Monterchi for a glass of Prosecco.

Casa Verde surpassed our expectations in every way – from the well-equipped kitchen to the beautiful pool and grounds and the barbecue was used to cook an enormous piece of Florentine steak.  We visited Anghiari, Cortona, Arezzo and Lago Trasimeno – all were wonderful but our favourite haunt was the bar in the square in old Monterchi – the nights were filled with the sounds of hooting owls, crickets and local cockerels. To sit by the firebowl and look up at the stars was amazing without any of the intensive light pollution from home.  We do hope to return…never has a holiday home been so well prepared…

Casa Verde is an amazing place and we felt so much at home here! Thank you for welcoming us, our honeymoon was spent relaxing, sight-seeing and enjoying the fantastic wine and food. Highlights of our trip were Spoleto, San Gimignano, Cortona, Siena, Assisi, to name a few! We enjoyed excellent food and amazing wine at La Pieve Vecchia in Monterchi, watching the sunset. We’ll be back.

Wow! What a beautiful and well-kept home.  A fantastic time was had by all and you were the perfect host.  The pool was amazing and the gardens a hive of activity and wildlife…a stunning location enhanced by the tranquility of Umbria.

We had the most wonderful honeymoon  at Casa Verde! A beautiful house in a stunning location.  We were blessed with fantastic weather which meant we got lots of use out of the amazing pool.  Anghiari, Cortona and Lago Trasimeno are highly recommended as is Una Terrazza in Toscana in Monterchi for an evening meal. Thank you for the most perfect few weeks – we didn’t want to leave!

Thank you so much for sharing with us this magnificent house – we loved our stay – it is so different to ‘big city life – and certainly what we longed for…peace, nature, authenticity and no TV! The week passed too quickly and each of every day was special in its simplicity.  We are taking back home priceless memories and will certainly be telling everyone about our holiday.

We very much enjoyed your house particularly the imaginative decoration and taste you showed in every purchase.  Beautiful location, it was good to be here in chestnut-picking season, harvesting mushrooms and hearing the commotion of a wild boar hunt! We had a fantastic stay at Casa Verde this summer.  We were familiar with the property from a stay many years ago (and with different owners) and had always wanted to return.   The house has maintained its charm and was almost exactly as we remembered it but with modern amenities as a result of the recent renovations.  We made full use of the well-equipped kitchen and spent many days relaxing by the pool.  It was particularly hot when we were there yet the house remained cool and quite comfortable due to the stone and tile construction.  The salt water pool was simply luxurious and so refreshing on those hot days.  Charlotte was a pleasure to work with too.  She made sure we were comfortable and was always very responsive with any questions or needs that arose.  We hope to stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone considering it for their holiday.

Your house provided all the comfort and tranquility we sought. So many thoughtful touches, all much appreciated, from the welcome pack to the candles, you provided everything we could have wished for.  We found Marzana but just didn’t have time to explore the area as much as we wanted.  This place is so well provided with sights to nourish the soul.  We wish you all the best for the future and hope to return one day.
